Pigeons are a constant pest for farmers in Argentina, so the shooting season is open all year. Many places have nesting colonies with vast numbers of breeding birds, and pigeons are continuously flying to farmland to feed on the crops all day. There is no bag limit on an Argentinian pigeon shoot, and the limiting factor to the numbers of clients shooting the next morning is that of a sore shoulder. You often shoot 750 to 1,000 shots per day if you want! Small fast flying doves are shot while passing through, but decoys are occasionally used to bring in pigeons, which are slightly smaller than our wood pigeons.
We can organise high volume pigeon shooting with variable levels of luxury Estancia’s With meals, and yet they all have one common element: the pigeon shooting is nothing short of spectacular!
